Good to hear from those who are new to Unreal 5

It was good to learn about a different rendering method than Unreal 4. Real-time lighting is supported through lumens instead of the existing build method, so when installing lighting,

He kindly explained that he changed the Movable settings to use lumen lighting and explained the Unreal work process and settings step by step, what a good reference is.

Even for a beginner, it was easy to follow. I think this is the best lecture for beginners who have not started using Unreal.

The best lecture on UE Lighting Rendering

I also took many other Unreal lighting courses.
The reason why this course is good is because it goes beyond just introducing the functions.

This is because it covers a wide range of theories and applications.

Usually, the writing course itself has a lot of volume.
Dedicate the entire curriculum to introducing functions, or
There are cases where only general theories are listed with the mindset that tools do not matter.

In most cases, just watching one course is not enough.

The course itself is well structured.

I think it would be okay to read this lecture twice and create a self-study curriculum using YouTube clips.

I think this is a necessary course for CG designers.

Originally, I worked with 3ds Max and V-ray, but in keeping with the trend of the times,

I only worked on modeling in 3ds Max and used Datasmith in Unreal.

I came across this course while studying on my own to learn how to do rendering.

The lecture itself requires comprehension rather than simple memorization.

Just like learning Unreal's Blueprint, you have to stop and follow the lecture and memorize it.

It wasn't a good lecture, and you could understand the content in general even if you turned off Unreal and focused on the lecture.

It was a level of difficulty.

(I signed up for the course for 180 days, but it was easy to understand, so I watched it all in 10 days haha;; for the remaining period.

I plan to review it regularly to make sure I absorb it.)

However, this does not mean that the lecture volume is small and that you can master the material after watching it once.

With Blueprints, you can find the functions you need, memorize them, or put together a node with just one painstaking effort.

Later, you can use the function by changing only the actor, but

There are so many variables in lighting that even if you know what changes when you touch it, the overall

It seemed like a lot of skill was needed to create a natural atmosphere.

However, because such proficiency is an area that requires sense and experience, online lectures have limitations.

However, this lecture provides direction to CG artists who are trying to create a final product with Unreal.

I think it's clear.

What was somewhat disappointing was that there was no indoor space as a reference to explain how to create a scene.

I hope I can see Unreal lectures at CG Bump again next time.

Personally, I would like to learn the workflow for interior space design by linking Max and Unreal.

Thank you for uploading a good lecture~

Lectures to improve writing skills

I did some personal work while studying UE5, but I was worried because I couldn't get the image I wanted. I think lighting has no choice but to test a lot, but there is a formula and there is a technical aspect, so I think the basics are important. I think this lecture is a good one to solidify those basics. In practice, unless you are a lighting artist, you don't have to do much lighting work, but I think this lecture can be a guide for those who have to study on their own. I also listened to writing lectures on YouTube and other online lecture sites, but it was disappointing that they focused only on the technical aspects. However, I liked that this lecture used film shooting techniques as an example and provided guidance on approaches and concerns about creating good works. In order to create a good work, it is necessary to think about not only the technical part but also the artistic part, and I think the fact that it covers the artistic part first and then takes a technical approach is what differentiates it from other lectures. Also, I felt that it was a thorough and detailed lecture as there were engine functions that I had missed because I was only working with the functions that I used every day, as well as useful tips to improve the quality of my work, hidden throughout the lecture. I highly recommend it to those who want to gain a solid understanding of writing concepts and improve their writing skills while self-studying.

🌞 It's a lecture that changes the perception of lighting for those who are working for the first time

🌞 We analyzed the functions of the basic actors used as essential in Unreal Engine 5, and it is the lighting lecture that we can learn most systematically.

The 'UE5 Real Time Lighting & Rendering' lecture contains all the knowledge you need for lighting.

Based on the understanding of the principles and concepts of Lighting, not just following lectures, No matter what kind of concept you work on in the future, you can think about it and apply it on your own I've organized a lecture.

It includes both the level and the writing process.

I'll tell you how to use lighting and post-process properly.

What is important in class

The ultimate goal of the lecture is to remove barriers to entry to engines and lighting,

It's about allowing yourself to create something.

And what we need to improve for the results to be better I'll help you judge independently.
